So very happy to see you here at #ScriptTheWord! I pray your time here is one of enjoyment, enlightenment, and relationship with the Lord, as He works in and through you during this daily practice of writing His most Holy Word.

I have created this, not as a challenge, but as a motivator to assist you in getting into God’s Word on a daily basis.  If you’re anything like me, you are more apt to recall things when you have written them down. Not to mention that the Lord calls us to write His Word on our hearts, so that we might not sin against Him (Psalm 119:11).
I will prepare daily devotionals to accompany the portion of scripture that will be the focus of the day. These will take place Monday through Friday, in the hopes that you would use the weekend to sit with the designated scripture, and listen as the Holy Spirit speaks to your heart… and a little journaling might also be of some interest to you.

Please feel free to use the Bible translation that speaks directly to your soul. I, for one, will, mostly, be using the following: NIV (New International Version) and TPT (The Passion Translation). On occasion I will use other versions; but either way, when a scripture address is referenced, I will disclose which I am choosing to use.

Every month will yield a new ‘message’, or theme, that will provide you with a daily portion of scripture to be written. Please use this time to ponder and meditate on this daily Word, as it will only draw you closer to the Lord, and encourage further relationship with Him.

I pray that you are blessed beyond measure by this form of daily scripture study, and that it will empower and equip you with the tools you need to take your prayers, requests, and praise directly to the Lord. He desires fellowship with you… and I know this will aid in developing that from your heart to His. May you have a wonderfully divine, redeemed, and glorified experience while taking part in this #ScriptTheWord journey. In the Mighty, Powerful, Precious name of Jesus, I pray.
